We are community-based advocates who provide free support and guidance to adults affected by crime.
KWA's Crime Victim Advocacy Program supports individuals from diverse and underserved communities who have been affected by crime. We work across systems including law enforcement agencies, courts, social service organizations and housing agencies.

What Support Looks Like
If, for example, your car is broken into, an advocate can help you create a safety plan, connect you to resources, and guide you through next steps. You would receive personalized support, which could look like getting a dashcam, or getting your broken window fixed. It would include ongoing guidance with developing a safety plan and having someone to walk alongside you and prevent re-victimization.
